Zagreb Film Festival
October 2008 19 – 25
Student Centre Cinema & Cinema Europe

The Sixth Zagreb Film Festival, with over 80 international films, starts today in downtown Zagreb, in all cinema halls of the Student Centre and cinema Europa. The festival features debut, first and second author films from around the world, with fifty of those films and documentaries competing for the main prize, the Golden Bib award.

There are also a number of side programs, which include showings The Tin Drum (Die Bleichtommel) and Austerlitz and a talk by British director and author Stephen Lowenstein. For more information, visit the festival’s website.
