Last week of the Sofia International Film Festival (March 5-15)

This year’s festival is heavy on British films, and former Monty Python actor and current TV travel series host Michael Palin was on-hand to receive the Sofia municipality Prize for outstanding contribution to cinema and television. The full program is available on the festival’s website.

If you miss the official festival, though, more films will be shown March 16-22 in Bourgas, Plovdiv and Sofia, according to the Sofia Echo.
